Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions of Redeemer.
What kind of church are you?
We are an evangelical body of believers who cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention for the purpose of spreading the gospel across the world through church planting and disaster relief.
What do you believe?
Our beliefs could be described as orthodox, evangelical, reformed and Baptistic. Our church’s statement of faith can be found here.
What’s your worship like?
Our gatherings are focused on Jesus Christ and the gospel displayed throughout all of Scripture. We place a high value on the preaching of Scripture, prayer and singing songs together that draw our attention to the work of salvation through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We sing songs that were written throughout the history of the church, as well as new songs written by men and women today. Our services are about an hour and half, and people dress casually.
Do you have something for our kids?
Yes. We believe the church’s responsibility is to help parents learn better ways of raising their cildren in the knowledge of God. One of the ways we seek to help parents is through our children and youth ministries. Nursery runs from ages 0-3, the children’s ministry takes place during the teaching time of our Sunday service (ages 4 yrs - 5th grade) and our youth program takes place Sunday nights at Redeemer.
