New To Church?

Unfamiliar faces, songs and traditions. Preaching and praying. Going to church can be awkward for some who don’t have much experience at these gatherings. So let us give you a heads up about what you can expect at a Redeemer Fellowship worship gathering.

Feel free to come casual.
Our worship gathering is not an overly formal event. People at Redeemer come dressed in jeans and tee shirts, or khakis and a pull over. In other words, feel free to come as you are.

Nothing is expected of you.
We are happy to have you with us and only want you to experience the truth of the gospel. You should not feel a need to contribute to the offering.

We gather for God.
People go to church for different reasons. Even churches have different purposes for existing. The primary reason we gather on Sundays is to worship the God who offers the forgiveness of sins, the restoration of our humanity and redemption for the world through Jesus Christ. In other words, it is more about him than it is about us, but this means we gain a better understanding of ourselves in the process. So we sing about him, our pastor teaches us about him, and our hope is that we will encounter him in a personal and life-transforming way.
