A Savior Who Identifies With Us

From the sermon series, “Advent 2016: Comfort & Joy”

Sermon text: John 1:1–17

All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

From the sermon series, “Advent 2016: Comfort & Joy”

Sermon text: Matthew 1:23; Isaiah 9:6

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
     and they shall call his name Immanuel”

For to us a child is born,
     to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
     and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
     Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
