Redeemer Womens Retreat 2019 Cover.jpg

Saturday, September 7

We’ll meet at Hickory Knolls Discovery Center in St. Charles from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. This one-day retreat will feed your soul with wisdom from the Psalms, and you'll also have time and space to meet other women and have personal time with the Lord.

Registration has ended, but if you missed it and would like to attend, there may still be an opening. Please reach out to for details.

Regular registration costs $55. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included. Join us afterwards for an optional dinner out (cost not included) at 6:30 p.m.

Scholarships are available for our church family who are in need. Please email or contact the church office.

Our Speaker

Lydia Brownback will be sharing wisdom and encouragement with us from several Psalms. Lydia is a trusted speaker worldwide and the author of several books, including Sing a New Song: A Women’s Guide to the Psalms.

Lydia’s book, as well as several others will be available at the retreat at a discount.

Our Ministry Partner

For the first time, we will be collecting donations at the retreat for The Forgotten Initiative*, serving foster children and their families in the area. We will be focusing specifically on building car kits for social workers' cars as they transport children to new homes or court dates. Feel free to bring individual items off of this list or grab a couple of friends and assemble a complete kit:

  • An encouraging note

  • Storage container with latching lid (15 Quart)

  • Air fresheners

  • Waterproof/washable/reusable garbage bag or holder (Example found here)

  • Games / books / activities for children of various ages

  • Children’s music

  • Non-perishable single serve snacks (no peanut products; please choose snacks that are not sticky and will not melt)

  • Wipes

Please contact Stephanie Schmanke with any questions:

*All donations are welcome, but not required for retreat attendance.
