Soldiers of Christ Prison Ministry
There is a group that meets at Redeemer most Tuesday nights at 7pm to grade bible study papers completed by prison inmates. They also have a time of prayer for the inmates and their families. No part of this ministry involves entering prisons, it is all done at the church. If you are interested in helping with this important ministry, please contact Scott Kalas at 630-863-4260 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Learn more at www.socpm.org.
English as a second language (ESL) Ministry
Our English as a Second Language ministry is held here at Redeemer several times throughout the week. Day, and some evening classes are offered. If you are interested in helping, please contact Brenda Dyer at email@example.com.
We have a Clothes Closet here at Redeemer where we give away gently used clothing, small household items, toys, children’s books, and baby things to those in need. We accept donations for this ministry Tuesday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Each month (usually on the first Monday of the month), we hold a giveaway open to the community from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. This ministry is run completely by volunteers, so be sure to sign up to help bless our community.
Our meal ministry is a group of church members who provide assistance to members in need of meals during times of need such as a baby’s birth, surgery, serious illness, death of a family member, or families in need of assistance due to job loss. For more information, please contact Jennifer Clark (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Stephanie Tsouloufis (email@example.com).
At Redeemer, we believe that God has not only given us the gift of prayer, but calls us to pray. One of the ways we do this is through our Prayer Ministry. If you have a prayer request you can let us know by filling out this form, and our Prayer Team will begin praying for you personally.
